If you could only choose 10 books as your top favorites, what would they be?
I’m going to start keeping a record of this annually, to see how this list changes from year to year as I expand my reading palette.
As of now, these are my top 10:
- Jane Eyre by, Charlotte Bronte
- The Brothers Karamazov by, Fyodor Dostoyevsky
- A Little Life by, Hanya Yanagihara
- A Tale of Two Cities by, Charles Dickens
- To Kill a Mockingbird by, Harper Lee
- Ross Poldark by, Winston Graham
- Stoner by, John Williams
- A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by, Betty Smith
- Outlander by, Diana Gabaldon
- The Secret History by, Donna Tartt
I do predict that some of my 2022 may switch up this list (Outlander already gained a spot). Perhaps War & Peace or the Count of Monte Cristo? A Gentleman in Moscow?
